Do you ever have an awkward moment like this photo stated?

Once I saw this picture, I just could not agree any more! I have done this awkward moment... like a hundred time! I hate the feeling of not understanding what does other person talk about. Unfortunately, it happens!

His Journey

Hi Gentlemen & Ladies!

At first glance, I thought this picture implies a special message like a storytelling. But there is no message except for his amazing journey. I was amazed by his LONGEST journey in China. He walked from Beijing to Urumqi for 2796 miles which equals to 4499.71 km. He also felt that his inner has changed through his journey in China. I watched the video of his journey. It was really fascinating!

Homeless Animals

Hiya!

I saw one article that saddened me! I thought I should share this article to everybody. The article talked about one dog which looks like trash. It was left on the street. Someone took him in and transform him into cute dog. It was heartbreaking to see this dog left at the street.

"Did you know that homeless animals outnumber homeless people 5 to 1?"
See the statement? I didn't realize that homeless animals' number is higher than homeless people. It mentioned in the article. I feel really bad for animals who needs a home but cannot do a thing except for waiting for people to pick them up. :'(

An Interesting Story!

When I read this story, I was really amazed about what happened to them.

Even through, they were separated at birth but they are very close right now. It was really amazing to see them so close.

The summary of the story: Adopted, raised on different continents and connected through social media, Samantha and Anais realized they might be twins separated at birth.

Valentine Cake

Hi peeps!

Valentine’s Day is getting close!I am looking forward to this Valentine’s Day... I hope you guys are also looking forward to that day! It’s time to plan everything for someone you love, only if you have one. Haha. Anyway, I already have a plan something on Valentine’s Day! What about your? I would like to hear your plan too!

Now, why valentine cake? I enjoy making diverse desserts. This year is also our 5 years together anniversary and I thought this year will be a little different and little sweet to celebrate our anniversary. So, I decide making something sweet for my soon-to-be-five-years boyfriend and he loves cake. I am planning to make a valentine cake this weekend (yes, it is a bit early). I intend to share this cake to all my loved ones. However, I need your opinions on my vision of valentine cake. You can also make some suggestions, even a better idea! I am open to all of your opinions.

My valentine cake will look like: 

• It will be French vanilla.
• Cake will be heart shaped cake.
•  The icing will be white.
• On the top of the cake - “Wild about you”, maybe black text & few small red hearts around it and a red rose (see the zebra cake and red rose cake below).
• On the edge of the cake - the outline of heart cake will be either strawberry or raspberry (not sure which one is better, if you have a suggestion, please tell me! See the brown and red cake below).
• On the bottom of the cake - decoration dots are around the wall of the cake (not sure if it is a great idea or not. See the white cake below).

This is my vision of Valentine cake. A problem is... I am not sure if this idea is the best idea or not. I also want my Valentine cake to be unique and creative! I love unique! So, please give me lots of opinions on this. I am very open-minded to opinions, thoughts and feedbacks.

My Experience in Puerto Rico

Hi peeps!

I decide to share some my Puerto Rico experiences during Holiday Break...

I enjoyed a lot at Puerto Rico... The food, weather, & people were amazing... I went to San Juan National Historic Site, Castillo San Felipe del Morro, El Yunque Rainforest, Plaza Las Americas Mall, La Cueva del Indio (Cave of the Indian), Bio Bay, and more!

My favorite places to visit were El Yunque Rainforst, Cave of the Indian, and Bio Bay.

• El Yunque Rainforest: Beautiful place to hike - I hiked for 30 minutes to La Mina Waterfalls & I swam under the La Mina Waterfalls... It was my first time to swim under the waterfall... It was definitely nice experience for me.
• Cave of the Indian: It was spectacular view as you guys can see the photo below! The limestone cave wasn't big like I thought but I saw numerous carvings by Taino Indians... It was really nice to see those old carvings which was drawn back in 1493. I also saw several bats in the cave! This trip is definitely worth to visit. • Bio Bay: I went to Bio Bay by kayaking with a group at nighttime. I never rode on the kayak at nighttime... It was definitely challenging because everything is a pitch black. All you can see is a glowing stick that attached all kayak & you have to follow it. You guys may wonder why we kayaked during the night... It's because Bio Bay has a glowing thingy in the water, so nighttime is the best time to see those sparkling water. It was amazing experience! I enjoyed a lot by seeing diverse lizard, seeing the sparkling water, riding all the way during night (a little scary but fun!). More information - http://www.puertoricodaytrips.com/fajardo-bio-bay/

My First Class...

Hi everyone!

My name is Amanda... I am attending Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning and taking Advertising and Marketing Communications – Management program. The course I am taking is Interactive Marketing. It required me to set a blogger and share some of my thoughts.
